Genshin Impact Livestream 5.0: Bennett's Return

Genshin Impact's Natlan Special Program is just around the corner! The highly anticipated announcement stream will air this Friday at 12:00 AM (UTC-4) on Twitch and YouTube. The promotional poster, titled "Flowers Resplendent on the Sun-Scorched Sojourn," hints at exciting Natlan reveals, including character banners and free rewards.

The Bennett Surprise: Free or a Letdown?

The free character giveaway is generating considerable discussion. While many players anticipated a free Natlan character like Kachina, Hoyoverse has opted for Bennett, the popular adventurer. Although rumors suggest Bennett hails from Natlan, this choice deviates from the usual practice of providing a free character from the new region to aid exploration. Acquiring Bennett will require completing a world quest.

A Bounty of Free Wishes

The free Primogems are the real draw. The initial estimate of 113 free pulls was adjusted to 110, and now stands at 115. Dedicated players completing all Version 5.0 content can expect this many pulls. Even with less playtime, players should still receive approximately 90 free pulls.

With Version 5.0 launching on August 28th and Genshin Impact's 4th anniversary approaching, additional rewards are on the horizon. A 7-day login event will offer ten fates, 1600 Primogems, a pet, and a gadget. Combining this with daily commissions, world quests, Spiral Abyss clears, and events, players could accumulate around 18,435 Primogems (approximately 115 wishes).
