Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium Global Won’t Support Cross-Region Play
Get ready, fans of tactical RPGs! MICA Team (Sunborn Network) is all set to launch Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium globally, and they've just released a detailed Q&A video to answer all your burning questions about the game.
Navigating the World of Publishers
The global rollout of Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium involves a bit of a twist with publishers. Depending on your region, you'll be playing on either Darkwinter (a Sunborn subsidiary) or Haoplay servers. While the game content remains the same across both, you won't be able to switch between these servers. Darkwinter is also rolling out its own PC launcher, whereas Haoplay's version will be accessible via Steam.
A Different Start for Global Players
Unlike the Chinese version, the global launch won't kick off with the same initial event. MICA Team has decided to skip some events from the Chinese server that require further story development, much like what happened with Azur Lane Global at its launch. Instead, global players will dive straight into the 'Sojourners of the Glass Island' event, experiencing both parts of the story from the get-go. There's also a possibility that the skipped events might be added later on.
Fan Favorites and Crossovers
Exciting news for fans of the original game—Groza's beloved 'Sangria Succulent' skin is making a comeback! MICA Team is also teasing more classic skins based on player feedback. Additionally, they've hinted at potential crossovers with titles like Neural Cloud and Gundam, promising an even richer gaming experience.
