inZOI, a Korean Sims-Like, Delayed to March 2025
Krafton's highly anticipated life simulator, inZOI, will launch in early access on March 28, 2025. This delay, announced by director Hyungjin "Kjun" Kim on the game's Discord server, prioritizes delivering a polished and complete experience.
The decision follows positive player feedback from character creator demos and playtests. Kjun likened the extended development time to raising a child, emphasizing the commitment to providing a fulfilling experience. The character creator alone saw a peak of 18,657 concurrent players during its brief availability on Steam.
Originally slated for a late 2024 early access release, the delay positions inZOI for a potential rivalry with Paralives, another life simulator aiming for a 2025 release. However, Krafton aims to avoid the pitfalls of releasing an unfinished product, unlike the recently canceled Life By You.
The extra development time will allow the team to refine inZOI's unparalleled customization and realistic graphics, creating a game that aims to redefine the life simulation genre. Krafton promises an experience players will enjoy for years to come, offering features beyond simple Sims comparisons, such as detailed work stress management and virtual karaoke.
While the delay may be frustrating for some, Krafton's commitment to quality is clear. The March 2025 release date signifies a dedication to delivering a truly exceptional life simulation experience.
