January's Community Day Classic, taking place on January 25 from 2 pm to 5 pm local time, will feature Ralts, the base form of the highly-regarded Psychic-type Pokemon from Generation 3, Gardevoir. This event is your chance to catch Ralts more frequently in the wild, and you might even encounter a shiny one.

Community Day is a beloved event in the Pokemon GO community, offering players a second chance to engage with past Community Days through the Community Day Classic series introduced in 2022. In 2024, Porygon, Bagon, Cyndaquil, and Beldum were the stars of January, April, June, and August's Community Day Classic events, respectively. Now, in 2025, Ralts takes the spotlight.

During the event, evolving Kirlia, Ralts' evolution, will grant trainers a Gardevoir or Gallade that knows the powerful Charged Attack Synchronoise, which deals 80 damage in raids, trainer battles, and gyms. Additionally, you can enjoy several event bonuses:

• Eggs placed in Incubators during the event will have a 1/4 Hatch Distance.
• Lure Modules activated during the event will last for three hours.
• Incense (excluding Daily Adventure Incense) activated during the event will last for three hours.

For $2, players can purchase Special Research, which offers rewards like a Premium Battle Pass, a Rare Candy XL, and three encounters with Ralts featuring themed backgrounds from the current season.
