Konosuba: Fantastic Days is Shutting Down with a Potential Offline Version
The popular mobile RPG, KonoSuba: Fantastic Days, is set to conclude its service on January 30th, 2025. After almost five years, both the global and Japanese servers will shut down simultaneously. However, developers are planning a limited offline version to preserve the game's core content, including the main storyline, key quests, and significant events. Further details on this offline version remain to be confirmed.
Regarding in-game purchases, all in-app purchases were disabled on October 31st, 2024. Players can still utilize existing Quartz and other in-game items until the service ends. Refunds for unused Quartz or unclaimed purchases from early 2024 are available until January 30th, 2025.
KonoSuba: Fantastic Days, the first mobile game based on the KonoSuba franchise, launched in Japan in February 2020 and globally in August 2021. The game featured an engaging storyline set in a world battling the Devil King's forces, and was praised for its charming narrative and visually appealing VN-style story mode. Unfortunately, like many gacha RPGs, it has succumbed to the pressures of maintaining player engagement and high production costs.
With only a few months remaining, now is the final opportunity to experience KonoSuba: Fantastic Days. Download it from the Google Play Store before the servers go offline. For more gaming news, be sure to check out our article on Orna: The GPS MMORPG's Conqueror's Guild for PvP Battles.
