Mortal Kombat Mobile Marks 10 Years with New Diamond, Gold Characters

Mortal Kombat Mobile is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a monumental update set to launch on March 25th, courtesy of Warner Bros International and NetherRealm Studios. This update brings a slew of new content, including fresh fighters, a revamped Faction Wars mode, a new challenge tower, and a plethora of anniversary rewards to mark a decade of brutal, fast-paced kombat.

Celebrate 10 Years of Brutal, Fast-Paced Kombat!

The star of the update is the introduction of MK1 Geras as a new diamond-tier fighter. Geras comes packed with a variety of abilities including power absorption, healing, and damage reflection. To unlock him, players will need to participate in Realm Klash events or advance through the Kombat Pass.

Another exciting addition is Klassic Skarlet, who enters the fray as the first gold-tier fighter capable of full ascension to Level 5. Her arsenal includes unblockable attacks, a new Gash debuff, and the ability to steal blood droplets from opponents. You can acquire her via the Premium Plus Kombat Pass or the standard Kombat Pass.

Faction Wars is undergoing a significant transformation, now known as Realm Klash. This revamped mode allows players to select from five different realms and compete for Realm Points over two-week seasons, moving beyond the traditional battle for Blood Rubies.

The 10th Anniversary update also introduces new ranks to Mortal Kombat Mobile: Elder God, God, and Demi God. Blood Ruby Packs now offer fresh Kameo deals and MK1 Geras rewards. The mode has received a visual overhaul, including new banners, leaderboards, and fixes for previously known exploits.

New Challenges Await in the Mortal Kombat Mobile 10th Anniversary

The new Tower of Time introduces an extreme challenge in the form of a limited-time event lasting two weeks, consisting of just 50 floors. Players can collect seven new Tower of Time equipment pieces, with MK1 Smoke and MK1 Geras receiving their own Brutality equipment sets. A Fusion Boost modifier enhances the lowest fused card in your team, adding a layer of strategy to the gameplay. Alongside the new tower, the Klassic Tower, Dark Queen’s Tower, and Black Dragon Tower are making a triumphant return.

In true anniversary fashion, starting April 1st, players will receive a free copy of each character featured in the anniversary promotion every day for 10 days. Additionally, three gold-tier fighters, Lizard Jade, Edenian Blood Sindel, and Klassic Smoke, are now available for ascension, offering even more opportunities to enhance your roster.
