Myst-Like Lovecraftian Puzzler Coming to Android

In today's crowded gaming market, finding a truly unique title can be a challenge. My Father Lied, however, stands out with its captivating narrative and intriguing blend of mystery and Lovecraftian elements. This puzzle adventure game offers a compelling story that sets it apart from the competition.

My Father Lied: An Indie Developer's Vision

The game's creation story is as fascinating as the game itself. Developer Ahmed Alameen, initially a writer and filmmaker, initially conceived the game in collaboration with a college friend. While that initial team dissolved, the story remained with Alameen, prompting him to embark on a solo journey. He independently mastered 3D modeling and Unreal Engine, bringing his vision to life. Even the game's title was a collaborative effort with his wife.

Unraveling the Mystery: The Game's Narrative

My Father Lied plunges players into a world steeped in ancient Mesopotamian mythology, filled with secrets, puzzles, and unexpected twists. Players assume the role of Huda, a young woman grappling with a twenty-year-old mystery: the disappearance of her father. The truth, as the story unfolds, proves far more complex than she could have imagined.

Blending 7000 years of Mesopotamian culture with a modern storyline, My Father Lied presents simple, point-and-click gameplay with stunning 2D visuals and immersive 360-degree imagery.
