Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.6: Annals of Pinecany's Mappou Age Arrives October 23rd!

HoYoverse has unveiled details for Honkai: Star Rail's upcoming version 2.6 update, titled "Annals of Pinecany's Mappou Age," launching October 23rd. This update transports players to Penacony and its vibrant Paperfold University, celebrating its anniversary with a flurry of student activities, club recruitment drives, musical performances, and academic events.

The Spotlight: Rappa, the New 5-Star Character

The highlight of version 2.6 is the introduction of Rappa, a 5-star Galaxy Ranger who also happens to be a ninja. Employing ninjutsu, mantras, scrolls, graffiti, and even rap, Rappa is on a mission to track down the villainous Evil Ninja Osaru. Her ultimate attack, Sealform Ningu: Demonbane Petalblade, boasts a unique first-person perspective, allowing players to experience the thrill of slicing through enemies and significantly reducing their Toughness.

Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.6 Events

• Sound Hunt Ninjutsu Inscription: Manage a band and collaborate with Rappa to create an unforgettable performance for the Dreamlight Anniversary music party.

• Warp Event: Limited 5-star characters Dan Heng • Imbibitor Lunae, Acheron, and Aventurine return in the warp event, spanning both halves of the update.

Simulated Universe Expansion

The Simulated Universe receives a major overhaul in version 2.6, introducing the third DLC, "The Unknowable Domain," a massive void linked to post-Second Emperor's War conflicts. Players must collect and upgrade powerful Scepters—external thinking units composed of inorganic bionic neurons—to forge potent synergies and defeat a challenging final boss.
