Tinkatink Debuts in Pokémon Go to Celebrate Pokémon Horizons: Season 2
The Horizons Celebration event is back in Pokémon Go, bringing a delightful and vibrant addition to the game with the debut of Tinkatink and its evolutions, Tinkatuff and Tinkaton. This special event, running from April 16th to 22nd, introduces these pink, hammer-wielding Pokémon for the first time, adding a splash of color and excitement to your gameplay.
Tinkaton, known for its playful yet powerful nature, uses its hammer to launch rocks at Corviknight. To evolve your Tinkatink into Tinkaton, you'll need to gather around 125 Candy throughout the event week. This presents a fun challenge and a chance to strengthen your team with these unique new additions.
Adding to the excitement, Floragato will appear in a new costumed version, sporting a hat with Liko’s pin. You can encounter this charming Pokémon in the wild, hatching from Eggs, and participating in Raids. There's even a chance to catch it as a Shiny, making it a coveted prize for collectors. Other Pokémon like Pikachu wearing Cap’s hat and Charcadet will also make appearances, offering more variety and excitement.
A host of Paldea favorites, including Fuecoco, Sprigatito, Quaxly, and Pawmi, will be roaming the wild. Meanwhile, seven km Eggs will hatch familiar faces like Hatenna and Elekid, with a chance to hatch Tinkatink as well. Keep an eye out for snapshot surprises, as Horizons characters and their Pokémon might photobomb your pictures, adding a fun and unexpected element to your event experience.
On the battle front, Pikachu in Cap’s hat comes equipped with the special move Volt Tackle, enhancing its combat capabilities. Raids will feature a mix of powerful Pokémon like Charizard, Metagross, Alolan Muk, and more Floragato, providing ample opportunities for challenging battles and rewards.
For those looking to maximize their rewards, Team Go Rocket balloons will appear more frequently, Egg hatch distances are reduced by half, and both Shiny chances and Stardust payouts are increased. Engage in Field Research and take advantage of both free and paid Timed Research to earn extra rewards, including an exclusive avatar pose. To prepare for the event, consider purchasing the Celebration Event Ultra Ticket Box from the Pokémon Go Web Store for $4.99, which will help you stock up on necessary items.
