War Thunder Soars with 'Firebirds' Update

Gaijin Entertainment has unveiled the highly anticipated Firebirds update for War Thunder, arriving in early November. This comprehensive update boasts a significant addition of new aircraft, ground vehicles, and warships, promising an exciting gameplay experience.

New Aircraft Joining the War Thunder Fleet

The update introduces iconic aircraft such as the stealthy American F-117 Nighthawk, the powerful Russian Su-34 fighter-bomber, and the formidable F-15E Strike Eagle. The F-117A Nighthawk, a first for War Thunder, utilizes stealth technology, employing unique design and materials to evade radar and infrared detection. Its angular design, radar-absorbing materials, and shielded engines made it a near-invisible force during Operation Desert Storm.

The F-15E Strike Eagle, a powerful upgrade to the classic F-15, offers a significantly increased payload and advanced ground target detection radar. This allows for the deployment of a diverse arsenal, including AGM-65 Maverick missiles, laser-guided bombs, JDAMs, and even the GBU-39 satellite-guided bombs (twenty at a time!).

Expanding Beyond the Skies

The Firebirds update extends beyond aircraft, incorporating new ground and naval units. These include the agile British FV107 Scimitar light tank and the imposing French Dunkerque battleship.

The concurrent Aces High season offers further rewards, featuring unique vehicles, trophies, and other in-game prizes for completing the season and Battle Pass. This includes aircraft such as the Bf 109 G-14, F2G-1, and La-11, along with powerful tanks like the T54E2 and G6, and ships including the HMS Orion and USS Billfish.
