Albion Online, the immersive medieval fantasy MMORPG developed by Sandbox Interactive, is gearing up for its next major update, Rogue Frontier, set to launch on February 3rd. This highly anticipated update promises to bring a fresh wave of excitement and new content to the game's dedicated community.

What’s Happening in the Outlands?

The Rogue Frontier update focuses on a new faction known as The Smugglers. This group of rebels, tired of the Royal Continent's stringent regulations, has established a presence in the untamed Outlands. They operate from secret underground hideouts called Smuggler’s Dens, which serve as crucial hubs for banking, repairs, and planning your next adventure. These dens are interconnected through the innovative Smuggler’s Network, facilitating trade across the Outlands.

The Smugglers are engaged in ongoing conflicts with the Royal Guards, and players can contribute to their cause in various ways. You can participate in missions to rescue captured Smugglers or smuggle contraband hidden within Smuggler Crates, adding an element of risk and reward to your gameplay.

Loyalty Has Its Perks in the Rogue Frontier Update of Albion Online

In the Rogue Frontier update, loyalty to The Smugglers pays off handsomely. Maggy Slade, a mysterious trader found within the dens, offers exclusive rewards for your allegiance. Among the coveted items are the Smuggler’s Vanity Set, a Smuggler’s Cape that reduces potion cooldowns, and both a Smuggler’s Ring and Avatar.

A new feature introduced with the update is Kill Trophies, which drop when you defeat another player. The quality of the loot on your vanquished opponent directly influences your chance of obtaining these trophies, adding a competitive edge to battles.

Rogue Frontier also introduces stylish new weapons to enhance your arsenal. The Rotcaller Staff summons a chilling mist-spewing form that repels enemies, the Skystrider Bow allows you to levitate and unleash a barrage of bolts from above, and the Forcepulse Bracers emit shockwaves as you dash into combat.

Get ready for the massive Rogue Frontier update by downloading Albion Online from the Google Play Store and prepare to dive into the action on February 3rd.
