Cyberpunk 2077 Enhances Performance with Patch 2.21
Cyberpunk 2077 receives a significant update (2.21) from CD Projekt RED, incorporating cutting-edge NVIDIA technology and numerous bug fixes.
A key feature of this update is the integration of DLSS 4 support. Starting January 30th, GeForce RTX 50 series card owners will experience a substantial performance boost with increased frame rates. DLSS 4 also enhances frame generation speed on both RTX 50 and 40 series cards, while simultaneously reducing memory consumption.
For all GeForce RTX graphics cards, users can now choose between the convolutional neural network and the new transform model for DLSS Ray Reconstruction, DLSS Super Resolution, and DLAA. The transform model delivers superior lighting, enhanced detail, and improved image stability.
This update also addresses several critical issues:
- Resolved glitches causing in-game screen interference and crashes when DLSS ray reconstruction was enabled.
- Corrected a bug where the "Frame Creation" parameter failed to update correctly after disabling resolution scaling.
- Fixed a bug preventing interaction with certain vendors.
- Addressed audio issues related to missing or low volume TV news sounds.
- Improved the frequency of Johnny's appearance in the passenger seat.
- Resolved a bug causing item disappearance when hiding nearby characters.
- Fixed a game freeze that occurred when simultaneously entering photo mode and accessing a closet or stash.
- Enhanced Photo Mode functionality, now allowing the placement of Nibbles and Adam Smasher in the frame even when Vee is in the air or water.
- Improved the functionality of Adam Smasher's facial expression changes.
This update promises a smoother, more visually appealing, and less buggy Cyberpunk 2077 experience for players.
