Get ready to dive into the thrilling world of demon hunting as Netflix unveils its highly anticipated anime adaptation of the iconic video game series, Devil May Cry. Fans got a tantalizing glimpse of what's in store with a brand new trailer that promises high-octane action and supernatural intrigue. Adding to the excitement, the late and legendary voice actor Kevin Conroy will posthumously lend his voice to the series, bringing his unique talent to a new audience.

Kevin Conroy, best known for his iconic portrayal of Bruce Wayne and Batman across numerous animated films and TV series, will voice VP Baines, a new character introduced in the series. Conroy's voice can be heard in the opening moments of the trailer, marking another posthumous performance following his acclaimed role in Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths: Part 3 in July 2024. Conroy's passing in November 2022 at the age of 66 left a void in the voice acting community, but his legacy continues to live on through his work. Joining Conroy in the cast are Scout Taylor-Compton as Mary, Hoon Lee as White Rabbit, Chris Coppola as Enzo, and Johnny Yong Bosch as the series' protagonist, Dante.

According to Netflix's official synopsis, "Sinister forces are at play to open the portal between the human and demon realms. In the middle of it all is Dante, an orphaned demon-hunter-for-hire, unaware that the fate of both worlds hangs around his neck." This narrative sets the stage for a gripping tale of action and mystery, centered around Dante's journey.
