Madam Bo Joins Mortal Kombat 1 as New Kameo Fighter
Mortal Kombat 1 has unveiled early footage of a new Kameo fighter coming to the game in March. Read on to find out more about Madam Bo and what she’s bringing to the game!
Mortal Kombat 1 Welcomes Madam Bo
New Kameo Fighter
Mortal Kombat 1 is set to introduce a new Kameo fighter, Madam Bo, the owner of Fengjian Teahouse. Alongside her, a villainous guest character, T-1000 from the Terminator 2 film, will join the roster on March 18th, 2025, as part of the Kombat Pack 2 and the Khaos Reigns expansion.
Before her role as an assist character, Madam Bo appeared in Mortal Kombat 1's story mode, where she was seemingly defeated by Lin Kuei assassin Smoke for failing to pay protection money. This event, however, was a ruse to prepare Raiden and Kung Lao for the tournament. Despite her unassuming appearance, Madam Bo is a formidable fighter, having ties to the Lin Kuei and possessing exceptional martial arts skills, which she used to train Raiden and Kung Lao.
In the gameplay footage, Madam Bo is shown assisting her pupils with powerful strikes and a unique fatality where she decapitates her opponent and catches the head on a tea tray, showcasing her brutal yet elegant fighting style.
T-1000 Makes Its Guest Debut
Alongside Madam Bo, the cold and cunning T-1000 from Terminator 2: Judgment Day will debut as a playable character on March 18th. This liquid metal assassin will utilize its shapeshifting abilities to attack with a sword or a machine gun, adding a thrilling dynamic to the game.
Mortal Kombat 1: Khaos Reigns Expansion
Madam Bo and T-1000 are part of the Khaos Reigns expansion for Mortal Kombat 1, which extends Liu Kang’s New Era storyline. This expansion offers a new campaign and a cinematic experience, detailing how Liu Kang mobilizes his champions to combat the ruthless Titan Havik, who poses a threat to the world and the New Era.
The Kombat Pack 2, part of this expansion, introduces several new and returning characters, with releases spread out over time. Starting with Sektor, Noob Saibot, and Cyrax in September 2024, followed by Ghostface from the Scream franchise in November, and Conan the Barbarian in January 2025. Madam Bo and T-1000 will be the latest additions to this exciting lineup.
