NetEase has unveiled the major updates slated for the second half of Marvel Rivals Season 1: Eternal Night Falls. The announcement, made in a blog post on February 11, 2025, highlights the introduction of Human Torch and The Thing, along with a much-anticipated rank reset.

On February 21, 2025, Marvel Rivals will see the completion of the Fantastic Four lineup with the debut of Human Torch (Duelist) and The Thing (Vanguard). NetEase is also gearing up for a significant balance adjustment, which they anticipate will "shake up the battlefield during the second half of Season 1."
