Overwatch 2 and LE SSERAFIM Unveil New Skins, Emotes, and Challenges in Latest Collab

Get ready for another exciting crossover as Overwatch 2 teams up once again with the dynamic K-pop girl group, LE SSERAFIM. This much-anticipated collaboration is set to launch on March 18, 2025, and promises to bring a fresh wave of content to the game, aligning with the release of LE SSERAFIM's new album, "Hot."

Overwatch 2 x LE SSERAFIM: A New Wave of Skins, Emotes, and Challenges

Following their successful collaboration in November 2023 to celebrate the song "Perfect Night," Overwatch 2 is doubling down on the K-pop magic. The upcoming event was officially teased in a Twitter (X) post on March 11, and had been announced earlier during the Overwatch 2 Spotlight on February 12. This time, players can look forward to a range of new skins for heroes such as Mercy, Juno, D.Va, Ashe, and Illari. Fans of the previous collab will be pleased to know that recolored versions of the LE SSERAFIM skins for Kiriko, D.Va, Sombra, Tracer, and Brigitte will be available for purchase once more.

While the Concert Clash mode from the last event won't be making a return, as it was specifically tied to the "Perfect Night" video, players can still earn rewards. Completing in-game challenges during the event period will grant you the chance to unlock the Legendary Fawksey James Junkrat skin.

Aimee Denett, the Associate Director of Product Management at Overwatch, shared insights with Polygon on March 11 about this collaboration. "This time around, we wanted to be part of one of the pieces that’s celebrating their new album," Denett stated. She further added, "While we don’t have a new song that’s specific to Overwatch, we had to celebrate K-pop culture, so we made a visualizer for one of the new songs off their album that we’re pretty excited about and a lot of extensive cosmetics for this collaboration."
