Pokémon Go Tour 2024: Exploring Unova Region
The much-anticipated Pokémon Go Tour is set to return in 2025, focusing on the vibrant Unova region. Whether you're planning to attend one of the in-person events in February or participate in the global celebration in March, you're in for a treat with new adventures, challenges, and encounters inspired by Pokémon Black and White and their sequels.
The in-person Pokémon Go Tour events are scheduled from February 21st to 23rd, offering two exciting locations to choose from. You can immerse yourself in the experience at New Taipei Metropolitan Park in Taiwan or at the Rose Bowl Stadium in Los Angeles. These ticketed events will bring the Unova region to life with seasonal themes, legendary stories, and a plethora of Pokémon to catch.
Tickets for these events are currently available at discounted rates: $25 USD in LA or NT $630 in Taipei. Both events promise exclusive gameplay, and ticket holders will have the opportunity to engage in Masterwork Research to encounter Shiny Meloetta for the first time. Additionally, the Egg-thusiast ticket add-on provides extra bonuses, including the chance to hatch Shiny Maractus, Sigilyph, and Bouffalant from 10 km Eggs during the event.
Shiny Deerling, the Season Pokémon, will also make its debut during the Unova tour. With its appearances varying based on different habitats, you'll have the chance to explore and collect them all if luck is on your side. Keep an eye out for a Special Research story as well, which involves the fate of the world and can only be resolved with the help of Reshiram and Zekrom.
If you can't attend the in-person events, don't worry—the global Pokémon Go Tour: Unova will follow on March 1st and 2nd. This worldwide event is free and doesn't require a ticket, allowing everyone to enjoy all the Unova-themed content. The only catch is that you'll need to wait a week after the in-person events conclude.
