A Prize Held High: Tips to Earn Trophy in Monster Hunter Wilds

In *Monster Hunter Wilds*, there's a lot more to do than just hunting down colossal beasts. If you're aiming to unlock the A Prize Held High trophy or achievement, you're in for a unique challenge that doesn't involve dragons or wyverns. Instead, your target is the elusive Curioshell Crab, which you can capture using the Capture Net.

How to Unlock the A Prize Held High Trophy/Achievement in Monster Hunter Wilds

Finding the Curioshell Crab can be tricky since it's scattered across various maps. Our most reliable spot has been the Scarlet Forest. Start from the base camp and head to Area 6: Flowering Rocks pop-up camp, nestled between Areas 2 and 6.

Equip your Capture Net, aim carefully until the reticle turns orange, and fire to capture the crab. A successful capture will reward you not only with the Curioshell Crab but also an Ancient Wyvern Coin.

Keep in mind that the Curioshell Crab moves quickly, so anticipate its path and aim ahead to ensure a successful capture. Besides the Scarlet Forest, you might also find it in Area 13 of the Windward Plains or Area 8 of the Scarlet Forest. While it can spawn in other areas too, these are the spots we've found most reliable.
