Sequel To Popular Cat Simulator Neko Atsume 2 Lands On Android!

The beloved cat-collecting game, Neko Atsume, has released its much-anticipated sequel, Neko Atsume 2. If you thought the cats in the original game were adorable, wait until you see the even cuter and fluffier felines in this new installment. While the core gameplay remains delightfully similar, Neko Atsume 2 introduces exciting new features that enhance the experience.

What Are The New Features In Neko Atsume 2?

One of the standout additions is the social aspect, where you can invite friends to visit your virtual yard and explore theirs in return. This feature allows you to exchange codes and potentially discover new cats while visiting other players' spaces. It's a great way to connect with fellow cat lovers and expand your feline collection.

Another new element is the introduction of Helpers in Neko Atsume 2. Certain cats can now assist you in managing your yard, adding a layer of interactivity to the game. Additionally, there's the mysterious Myneko, a special cat that you can customize to your liking, adding a personal touch to your experience.

For those interested in exclusive perks, the Cat's Club is a subscription-based feature with a one-month free trial. Subscribing allows you to have up to three Mynekos and introduces you to Aida, the Helper Cat, right from the start.

The game also introduces a newspaper feature that rewards you with 10 silver fish, replacing the daily password system from the first game. To get a better look at what Neko Atsume 2 has to offer, check out the promotional video below:

And Here’s How It Goes Down!

In Neko Atsume 2, you'll start by placing snacks and toys in your virtual yard and then stepping away for a bit. When you return, you'll be greeted by a variety of feline visitors, ranging from tabbies and calicos to black and white cats, and even some rare ones. Each cat you encounter is logged into your Catbook, and with over 40 different types of cats to discover, you'll need to experiment with different goodies to attract the special ones.

While there are currently fewer toys and decorations compared to the first game, the developers have promised more in future updates. For now, you can have fun with items like the Tissue Box, Eco Bag, Baseball Ball, Gold Fish Statue, Cowboy Hat, and Temari Ball.
