Fans of the animated series *Solar Opposites* will soon bid farewell to the show as Hulu has confirmed that the upcoming sixth season, set to premiere in the last quarter of 2025, will be its final installment. This announcement marks the end of an era for the adult animated sitcom, which first debuted in 2020.

In mid-2024, it was revealed that *Solar Opposites* had been renewed for a sixth season. However, at the time, there was no indication that this would be the concluding chapter of the series. The show, created by Mike McMahan of *Star Trek: Lower Decks* fame and Justin Roiland, co-creator of *Rick & Morty*, follows the adventures of an alien family stranded on Earth after their home planet's destruction.

In a significant shift, Justin Roiland was removed from *Solar Opposites* in 2023 following charges of domestic violence, which were subsequently dropped. English actor Dan Stevens seamlessly took over Roiland's role as the lead voice actor, ensuring the show's continuity and quality.
