Audio quality is exceptional, whether you're listening to intricate classical music or enjoying a rocking action movie; these headphones deliver it all."

The previous generation, Sony XM4, was already an outstanding headphone, but the XM5 introduces key enhancements in noise cancellation and comfort. It features a second processor and double the number of microphones dedicated to filtering out ambient noise. The earcups have been redesigned to fit more snugly on the ear, creating a better seal and thus more effective passive noise isolation. The noise cancellation is noticeably superior to the XM4 and virtually any other noise-canceling headset in its price range.

The Sony WH-1000XM5 also boasts a sleeker redesign with a new headband adjustment style. The band is wider for better weight distribution, and the earcup padding is now made of a luxurious synthetic leather material that's softer and more comfortable, allowing you to wear these headphones for hours.
