RuneScape has just released its latest Dev's Diary for April, packed with exciting details about the new update, "Return to the Desert: Pharaoh's Folly." This fresh quest is now live and will run until April 28th. Players must navigate the perilous Shifting Tombs and, with the help of Leela and Ozan, alter the destiny of the desert.
Here’s the Full Scoop on the Pharaoh’s Folly in RuneScape
The situation in the Kharidian desert is escalating, with Menaphos engulfed in chaos. Osman's shocking betrayal against his own people has led to the city's internal collapse. The populace is split, and the ominous presence of Amascut lurks in the shadows, signaling dire times ahead. Escaping the Shifting Tombs is merely the start of the challenges you'll face.
You won't be tackling these trials alone. Leela is back in action, and new allies, including some adorable pets, will join you. Together, you'll delve into the ancient secrets of Menaphos and unravel the true intentions behind Osman's actions.
Heading Back into the Heat Again
Successfully completing Pharaoh’s Folly in RuneScape comes with some fantastic rewards. Players can earn Thieving and Agility XP, claim the prestigious title "The Rabble-Rouser," and receive a new bracelet called "Leela’s Favour." This bracelet allows teleportation across all Menaphos districts, the Sophanem slayer dungeon, the Shifting Tombs, and all active soul obelisks.
The "Return to the Desert: Pharaoh’s Folly" quest is not for beginners. You'll need a Slayer level of 87, completion of the initial quest "Beneath Scabaras’ Sands," and to have checked off various objectives from the "Do No Evil" quest within Phite Club. Additionally, ensure you've built the necessary structures from the Fort Forinthry storyline. Once all these criteria are met, you can meet Leela outside the gates of Menaphos and embark on a mission to restore the city. If you're ready to take on this challenge, download RuneScape from the Google Play Store and return to the desert!
