For under $300, it provides near-OLED blacks using an IPS panel and achieves a peak HDR brightness of around 1,000 nits, perfect for HDR gaming. It also employs quantum dots for enhanced color coverage, ideal for creators.

The key to its performance is a mini-LED backlight with 1,152 local dimming zones, allowing it to compete with monitors twice its price. While blooming exists, it's less noticeable than in other monitors at this price point, and the blacks are deep with vivid highlights and colors.

To maintain its low price, it lacks extra features like a USB hub or KVM, and has limited gaming options. For the best color accuracy, a calibration cycle with a colorimeter is recommended. Despite these minor limitations, it's an outstanding value.
