All Hidden and Secret Achievements in Monster Hunter Wilds

Monster Hunter Wilds boasts 12 secret achievements. Seven of these are unlocked as you progress through the main story, while the other five require you to complete specific optional objectives. Let's dive into the details of these five achievements.

I Caught a Shooting Star!

To unlock this achievement, head to Zone 11 of the Windward Plains at night. Equip yourself with screamer pods and keep an eye out for a Baunos flying near the gathering spots. Use the screamer pods to stun it, then quickly catch it with your Capture Net.

A Prize Held High

This achievement can be earned in various maps, but Zone 6 of the Scarlet Forest is a prime location. Look for a small puddle of water where you'll find a golden crab. Use your Capture Net to catch it. Alma will often comment when you're near a creature carrying the Ancient Wyvern Coin, so listen for her cues.

A Legacy Restored

Once you reach High Rank missions, start crafting Artian gear. To obtain the Rarity 8 Artian Weapon, you'll need to hunt Tempered monsters using Rarity 7 gear. This will provide the necessary materials for crafting.

Seasoned Hunter

Don't confuse Tempered monsters with Frenzied monsters; the former are outlined in purple on the minimap, while the latter are outlined in red. To unlock this achievement, you need to hunt or capture 50 Tempered monsters. These start appearing from Chapter 4 onwards in High Rank content.

Top of the Food Chain

This achievement requires you to hunt 50 Apex Predators. The monsters that count towards this achievement are Rey, Dau, Uth, Duna, Nu, Udra, and Jin Dahaad. Focus on these specific monsters to progress towards unlocking the achievement.
