Aladdin Quest Guide: Complete Rewards in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Disney Dreamlight Valley has enriched its world with the addition of Aladdin and Princess Jasmine through the free Tales of Agrabah update, allowing players to bring these beloved characters into Dreamlight Valley. Here's a comprehensive guide to Aladdin's quests and rewards along his Friendship Path, as well as how to unlock them.

Aladdin’s Friendship Quests in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Upon arriving in Dreamlight Valley, Aladdin invites you to hang out with the Magic Carpet and take a photo with it. To complete the "Carpet Diem" quest, equip the Carpet as a Companion from the wardrobe menu and snap a selfie with it. This quest begins in the Agrabah realm.

Good As Gold (Level 2 Friendship)

To unlock Aladdin's Level 2 quest, "Good As Gold," increase his friendship level by giving him his favorite gifts. Aladdin will then ask for your help in testing Scrooge McDuck's new security system. Start by talking to Scrooge and taking photos in his shop. You need to capture:

• A door that guards more treasure than the Cave of Wonders.
• A way to reach the second floor of the shop (x2).
• Ways to make quick escapes from the guards (x3).

Take broad shots of the vault door behind the desk and both staircases to meet these requirements. After taking the photos, discuss the next steps with Aladdin. He suggests dressing in dark, sporty clothing, and optionally waiting for nightfall (6 p.m. to 6 a.m.) to proceed.

Once dressed, enter the shop and talk to Aladdin. He'll have you press the big, red button on the wall to the left of the counter, initiating Scrooge's security system test. The store transforms into its "closed" state, with pools of light and buttons that control them. Navigate downstairs by pressing the buttons to turn off lights and move spotlights:

• Start with the center button Aladdin points to.
• Move to the back right wall to turn off two upstairs lights.
• Press the button above the right staircase to move the spotlight away from the button above the left staircase.
• Press the button above the left staircase to turn off the light not over the center button, then press the center button again to turn off the light at the bottom of the right staircase.

Downstairs, press the button on the right side of the counter to move the spotlight at the front door toward the staircase you descended. Then, turn off the light over the button you pressed to start the test by pressing the button on the left display counter. Finally, press the button to the left side of the counter and speak to Aladdin in front of the vault.

Coins will start floating around the shop. Collect all four by gliding and pressing the interact button when close enough, then give them to Aladdin. He'll mention that some coins escaped into Dreamlight Valley, and you'll need to catch the rest. Exit the shop, and you'll be placed in front of your house to glide and collect nine more coins scattered around. Return to Jasmine and Aladdin’s house to give him the coins, which he'll add to Scrooge's growing pile of gold.

Next, take a photo with Aladdin and the gold, then listen to Aladdin and Scrooge discuss the mission outside. Talk to Aladdin one last time to complete the "Good As Gold" Level 2 Friendship quest.

Bring Your Own Carpet (Level 4 Friendship)

As Aladdin settles into Dreamlight Valley, he wants to create a Dreamlight Magic Carpet similar to his companion from Agrabah. Start by talking to Merlin, who directs you to the Dreamlight Library to find three books on Fabric Enchantment, Carpet Weaving, and Flying Technique. Locate them on the floor next to the book pile in the back left corner, on the shelf against the back right wall, and to the left of the desk in the center of the room.

Give the books to Aladdin, who will then send you to Minnie for help in crafting the Dreamlight Magic Carpet. Gather the following supplies:

• 4 Dream Shards
• 4 Blue Hydrangeas (Dazzle Beach)
• 4 Purple Bell Flowers (Forest of Valor)
• 25 Fiber (Kristoff’s Stall, Crafting)

Bring these to Jasmine and Aladdin’s house. After Aladdin crafts the carpet, accept the Magic Scroll from him and interact with the carpet on the floor to make it fly. Talk to Aladdin again to receive the carpet, then follow him to the entrance of the Disney castle.

Aladdin has planned a tour around the Valley on your new magic carpet, providing snacks to keep your energy up. The Dreamlight Magic Carpet is a Glider skin, requiring you to overfill your energy bar (making it yellow) with prepared meals to use it.

Equip the Dreamlight Magic Carpet from the wardrobe menu and start the tour by gliding under the banner in the Plaza’s main square. Follow the route:

• Turn left towards the Forest of Valor.
• Glide across the forest and turn right to go down the ramp to Dazzle Beach.
• Turn immediately right to glide up the ramp into the Peaceful Meadow.
• Turn left to go down the stairs back to Dazzle Beach.
• Hang a left to cross the bridge, then right to glide to the end of the pier.

Ensure you track the quest from your menu screen to stay on course. Note that the Dreamlight Magic Carpet functions like other Gliders, meaning ground obstacles will still hinder your progress.

After reaching the end of the pier, talk to Aladdin to complete the "Bring Your Own Carpet" Level 4 Friendship quest.

All That Glitters (Level 7 Friendship)

At Friendship Level 7, Aladdin will unlock the "All That Glitters" quest. He's making a bouquet for Jasmine, aiming to surpass the beauty of the palace gardens in Agrabah. Help him by gathering:

• 4 yellow flowers (any type)
• 6 purple flowers (any type)

Bring these to Aladdin, and listen as he presents the bouquet to Jasmine. Despite her appreciation, Aladdin feels it's not enough. He then recalls a scroll from Scrooge McDuck that hints at a treasure, which he wants to find to surprise Jasmine.

The scroll directs you to "begin at the mermaid’s isle." Travel to Skull Island via the raft and find the Golden Sun Piece on the upper right side of the peninsula. Insert it into the tall rock to the left of your entry point, revealing an image of a broken-down pillar.

Follow the clues:

• Walk north from the rock and dig up a box buried in the sand.
• Fish up a piece of the pillar in the golden circles next to the raft.
• Open the barrel near the Golden Sun Piece location.

Add the two pieces to the Pillar, but nothing happens. Talk to Aladdin, who suggests someone in Dreamlight Valley might know more. Take a photo of the Pillar and return to the Valley.

Consult Maui, Ariel, and Rapunzel about the Pillar, but they're clueless. Return to Ariel’s island, where Jasmine awaits, ready to help. She explains that the Pillar pieces rotate and clues on the island will guide their arrangement.

Interact with the Golden Sun Piece for the clue: "From the tiniest seed, water creates blooms as tall as golden towers." Face the Pillar with your back to the Golden Sun Piece and adjust the pieces:

• Middle piece to show water.
• Bottom piece to show a seed.
• Top piece to show a flower.

Collect the treasure that appears in the water to the left of the Pillar. Give it to Aladdin, who presents it to Jasmine. She values their shared adventures over material treasures. Accept the golden tea set furniture item from Aladdin to complete the "All That Glitters" Level 7 Friendship quest.
